World's largest L&P bottle - Paeroa, NZ
Have you ever had the chance to visit your homeland and experience it through tourist eyes? We headed back to Aotearoa, the land of the long white cloud for the festive season and did exactly that!
The next few posts I will be sharing are highlighting some of the charming and unique places to visit in the top half of North Island, New Zealand.
Paeroa is a small, historic town located at the beginning of the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula and known for its great antique stores and the world's largest L&P bottle, which stands tall and proud at Ohinemuri Reserve.
Lemon & Paeroa (L&P) is a refreshing New Zealand soft drink created in 1907 by mixing carbonated mineral water from Paeroa springs with the juice of lemons. L&P is now owned and manufactured by Coca Cola.
Be sure to stop at Paeroa, purchase a cool, sparkling L&P from the local dairy and have that compulsory photo in front of the big bottle!
Check out this original World Famous in New Zealand L&P television commercial, it's an oldie but a goodie!
