Exploring the Great Palm Island Group in Tropical North Queensland we anchored in the crystal clear waters of Esk Island. Jumping in the tender, we couldn't wait to hit the beach and discover this little piece of paradise!
Esk Island is an extremely scenic island, "I think we've found paradise" I exclaimed as we arrived ashore. Not another soul in sight, we had this small tropical island all to ourselves.
We spent a leisurely day under bight blue skies, snorkeling the azure waters, collecting pretty shells and topped our day off with a relaxing stroll on the pristine beach.
Who needs Fiji when Esk Island is in our own backyard, I mean ocean. Unfortunately there is no public ferry service to Esk Island, a real gem of the Great Palm Islands.
