Loo with a view - The aftermath Cyclone Debbie

Too Easy secured for Cyclone Debbie

Tracking map courtesy of Bureau of Meteorology

Saturday 25th March we were busy prepping for Cyclone Debbie, at this stage she had Townsville in her sights and was building momentum to reach the coast as a destructive category 4 cyclone.

Monday 27th March we left the marina, boat secured to bunker down at my Cousin Melissa's house and wait for Debbie to arrive.  The afternoon and evening went by with not a puff of wind or a drop of rain and news reports that Debbie's path was now slowly heading south.

We let out a sigh of relief, we had dodged a bullet this time! We watch Debbie unfold live on TV and were feeling for all the people further down the coast who had to experience the wrath of Cyclone Debbie head on.
